The only way that I am aware of is to rotate the line anchored at on end.

Under the "Select Tab"...

Click the 'Select' button (S).  Select the line.
Click the 'Dot' button (dot).  Click on one end of the line.
Click the 'Rotate' button (Curved Arrow).  Key in number (Pos. or Neg.) degrees of rotation.
   Click the 'Enter"

Hope this helps.

I think you need  'Draw an Angled Line'

On the DeltaCad screen:  Line | 5th icon along.

Press the icon button then press F1 to get the full story.

I thought he meant an existing line.

Oh yes, Bill. Didn't think of that. Perhaps the OP could be more specific.

Here are 4 ways to move the end of a line.

1) Go to the Edit tab and choose the Move an Object Point button (3rd button from the left, see thumbnail below).

2) If want to only shorten or lengthen the line then go to the Edit tab and choose the Slide an Endpoint button (5th button).
3) Just draw a new line where you want it starting at the end of the old line and then delete the old line.
4) Go to the Edit tab and choose the Edit Object Data button (1st button) and change the X and Y coordinate of the end of the line.

Yes you could do it like williamj and jw48 discribed if you know the angle of the line.
