Align an preexisting drawing to grid points.
#1
I have a drawing that was initially align with grid points. This drawing when reopened was found to be misaligned to the grid points at the time it was created. The grid points settings still remain the same inspite of the drawing no longer matching. How can I return the drawing to coincide with the grid points.

1. Set the snap mode to Nearest Point.
2. Go to the Select tab.
3. Select all objects in your drawing.
4. Click on the Set the base point for selected objects button. (button with dot)
5. Pick the end of a line. (this will be where your grid starts)
6. Set the snap mode to Grid mode.
7. Click on the Move selected objects button. (button with two little boxes)
8. Put the mouse pointer near one of the grid points and click the left mouse button. (It should snap to one)

Thanks for the information. Your suggestion was right on point. Good job.
