I'd like to set points on an angled line, but can only see how the coordinates work only horz and vert. Possible? Thanks for this forum, it really helps.

David,
1-If you desire your points to be equally spaced you can use the "draw midpoints" button from the POINT TAB. (1st thumbnail) 2-If you need to place unequal points at a relative distance from an existing point you can first create a short perpendicular line at some point on the line, then choose "draw a parallel line" from the LINE TAB and offset the desired distance. Any intersection of two lines creates a "snap point", which will allow you to place a point at that intersection with accuracy.(select the "draw a point" button from the POINT TAB and double-click at any line intersection to place a point). (2nd thumbnail) 3-alternatively, you can simply use "draw a circle with a center and a radius" button from the CIRCLE TAB and use the radius of the circle to create the intersection, place your points, then erase the circles (a much quicker solution).
