Advise me... Dotted lines not showing up in DWG file.
#1
Hi

I have been using DeltaCad for a few years - excellent program.

I am using V8.0 and saving the drawing as a DWG file which is then sent to my sheet metal company for making.
When they open the file, they cannot see the dotted line showing it as hidden. It shows as a solid line which means, in some cases, they do not know which way to bend the item!
Is there a setting I can change to show a dotted line in a DWG file? (It shows ok in the DC file). In the drawing data set up, I have set the gap to 10.0 but without success. (I am using mm and a scale of 1.0)
I tried looking for a manual that I could view but could not see one on the DeltaCad site. Is one available do you know, as a pdf?

Many thanks

Hello Steve,

You have one (a Manual) on your computer.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\DeltaCad\MANUAL.PDF" or whichever directory you have DeltaCad loaded in.

Steve,

It's also readily available in DeltaCad's "Help" drop-down menu.
