Point function

I'm just learning DeltaCad with little prior experience to cad. I've tried doing the calculator drawing from the manual but when I pick a point and type in the offset it's nowhere close to where it should be. Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Page 17, line 2. When I do this operation I get a red dot to the far right of the rectangle and on the same vertical plane as the bottom of the rectangle.

I just went in and did a "Reset Options" and it works fine. I must have hit something wrong. Thanks anyways!
