Actually, I meant to thank you for your supported remark but ended up explaining "why" I did what I did. I'm not very gifted in speech or writing skills and sometimes find it difficult to express myself the way I want to. I guess I took the opportunity to explain thru this post that there was a reason for these tricks; like in this post, I don't want to show how to draw a drain grate but what had to be done to do so. Gaah! Here I go again!

It's those 'little tips-n-tricks' that can make those otherwise complicated projects a bit easier. Especially for those of us that have long forgotten our geometry teachings.

And, of course, reminding us to let our computers do the figurin' for us. After all, they're basically just fancy calculators and that's what they do best.
